Alex Gagnon

Alex Gagnon joined the retirement division of Banner Life family of companies in 2020 and currently serves as VP, Head of Distribution, leading business development and client solutions. 

Prior to joining Banner Life family of companies, Alex served as a Pension Risk Manager at HSBC where he was the Pensions subject matter expert for the bank’s risk function in the US. Previously Alex was a Principal Consultant in Mercer’s Financial Strategy Group where he developed and implemented financial risk management strategies for pension plan sponsors, including PRT transactions. 

Alex is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, an Enrolled Actuary and a CFA® Charterholder.
